What the dog cannot eat - other products:

  • Milk and milk products. Since the activity of the enzyme that breaks down lactose gradually declines from around 8 weeks of age and lactose intolerance is very common in dogs, it is important to eliminate dairy products from their diet. Lactose intolerance can cause symptoms such as diarrhea and flatulence.
  • Cat food. Feeding your dog cat food is a bad idea. The amount of protein and fat in a cat's diet significantly exceeds the dosages recommended for dogs. Eating cat food can end up in your dog suffering from kidney disease.
  • Legumes. Beans, peas, broad beans or chickpeas should not be eaten by the dog. They cause severe and painful stomach bloating in pets. In severe cases, they can lead to stomach torsion.
  • Mushrooms. Even the edible and tastiest mushrooms poison our dog. They are difficult to digest, so they disrupt the work of the stomach. They have a negative effect on the work of the nervous system, kidneys and heart.
