Half clamp collar - description
The half-clamp collar is a collar put on over the head. It is connected with steel D-rings.
The mechanism of operation of the half-clamp collar is based on the fact that when putting it on, it passes freely through the head, while after attaching the leash and pulling, the collar clamps to a predetermined moment making it impossible to remove the head from the collar. The half-clamp collar is dedicated to dogs with a neck wider than the circumference of the head - it works well as a collar for a bull terrier or a greyhound. Therefore, in order to choose the right size of the half-clamp, the head circumference should be taken into account. The range of collar adjustment given on the website corresponds to collar tightened, the circumference of the head should fit within it.
Most often chosen for long-haired dogs (NP. border collie, Samoyed and/ or large breed dogs (NP. r, doberman), whose caregivers avoid plastic clasps.
It comes in several sizes and widths. When choosing the width of the collar, keep in mind that the wider the tape, the larger the metal elements. Who is the half-clamp collar useful for?
Half-clamp collar has been designed for dogs that have a wider neck than the head and extend their head from traditional buckle-fastened collars.
If your dog is another one the incarnation of Houdini and it has a tendency to magically release anything you wear it with, this is the solution for you.
It is also useful for dogs with long hair - no more accidentally fastening the fur with a clasp!

Shine in blue, i.e. a beautiful collar in shades of the sea depths. One of the "male" Warsawdog patterns, which my husband liked a lot. The collar is sewn very solidly and carefully, thanks to the darker shade it hardly gets dirty. Our favorite collar for special tasks.

Great pattern. And this is where the pros end.
I decided to buy the collar because all of the company's products have good opinions. I regret it. Covering the fittings in color may be the icing on the cake, but with a worm inside. In our case, after a month, the black fittings turned silver (medium pull dog, Labrador, approx. 33 kg), rust will probably appear soon. The collar itself disregards itself and this is the biggest drawback, because in one crisis situation, during a walk, the dog would slip out of it. The material is very slippery so it's probably because of it .. The product came packed nicely, in a cardboard box, surrounded by paper, with a few stickers. Only this is a secondary matter. This is not what I expect at this price. Clinging to the details - the label is sewn with a stitch that goes down to one side. The price is greatly exaggerated. At the moment, it was the first and last product of this company.

Another collar from Warsaw Dog. It is beautiful like all other products. This time, however, we bought a clamping collar, because the plastic buckle in the first collar did not last and broke (let me add that the dog pulls without hesitation).
I recommend it with a clear conscience. The dog looks like a "Varsovian" :)

Perfect for dogs with a large collar. Plus it's beautiful. It does not wipe the fur, does not leave (colored) marks on the white collar even when playing in the river, and in addition it is beautiful.
