Half clamp collar - description
The half-clamp collar is a collar put on over the head. It is connected with steel D-rings.
The mechanism of operation of the half-clamp collar is based on the fact that when putting it on, it passes freely through the head, while after attaching the leash and pulling, the collar clamps to a predetermined moment making it impossible to remove the head from the collar. The half-clamp collar is dedicated to dogs with a neck wider than the circumference of the head - it works well as a collar for a bull terrier or a greyhound. Therefore, in order to choose the right size of the half-clamp, the head circumference should be taken into account. The range of collar adjustment given on the website corresponds to collar tightened, the circumference of the head should fit within it.
Most often chosen for long-haired dogs (NP. border collie, Samoyed and/ or large breed dogs (NP. r, doberman), whose caregivers avoid plastic clasps.
It comes in several sizes and widths. When choosing the width of the collar, keep in mind that the wider the tape, the larger the metal elements. Who is the half-clamp collar useful for?
Half-clamp collar has been designed for dogs that have a wider neck than the head and extend their head from traditional buckle-fastened collars.

The collar is beautiful, you can see that the dog's self-confidence and self-esteem immediately increased. And the walks also got longer - you know, a show :). Delivery, shipment etc. without any comments.
And the half-clamp of this collar is also perfect. Previously, the puppy (16 kg) was wearing a harness and was pulled like a tractor (harness is like that when a dog pulls his whole chest). The behaviorist recommended such a collar to us and the dog pulls less and there is no suffocation as in the case of spikes.

Lovely collar. Aesthetic and neat performance. Subtle reflections, blend in with the whole, providing the dog with better visibility after dark! The addressee is made mega, I have met with different ones, this one seems to be solid. Thank you ? if I changed something, I would make the eyelet to which we attach the leash in a different color, so that I fasten the leash to the appropriate ring without thinking. At first, the half clamp was weakly retracting, the dog would let go of the pull, and the clamp was still "holding". After a few days, the material was worn out and it works better. On the other hand, the Easy walk training harness is much better for leash strokes, which I highly recommend!

I would have uploaded a photo of a brunette in a collar, but it is impossible here (such an option would be great), in any case it fits him perfectly.
Certainly, this is our last purchase at Warsaw Dog, due to the quality and design, contact and professionalism.
