How to measure your dog: Martingale collar

Martingale half-clamp collar

Collar dedicated to dogs that have a larger neck than the head, or who have simply mastered the secret ways of freeing themselves from a standard collar with a buckle. Collar with a martingale half-clamp system ensures security by reducing the circumference of the collar while pulling it to the preset moment. The clamping element is an additional loop to which we attach the leash. Martingale (pronounced martingejl, [‚mɑːtɪŋgeɪl]) is lighter than a half-clamp collar - we recommend it for delicate greyhound necks.

Place of taking the measure:half clamp

Measure the dog at the base of the head, at its widest point. The collar is designed to allow it to pass freely over the head and prevent it from sliding off. When pulling the attached leash, the collar reduces its circumference to the set size. Martingale collars are used for dogs that have a neck that is wider than the head, which means that they can break free from ordinary collars.

The resting collar should lie loosely around the neck.

The martingale collar is not intended to correct behavior, but to ensure the dog's safety.
