How to measure your dog: Leashes

Recommended lanyard widths:

  • 1,5 cm - miniature dogs (e.g. chihuahua, yorkshire terrier)
  • 2 cm - small and medium-sized dogs (e.g. shih tzu, west highland white terrier, jack russell)
  • 2,5 cm - large dogs (e.g. British spaniel, Hungarian pointer, German boxer)

Guardians little four-paws need for those under their care light leashes, in which the carabiner will be properly selected in terms of weight and size. The weight of the carabiner is important especially for a dog that wears a collar, so the leash is attached to the neck. You should choose a lanyard made of a narrower tape, and therefore light, with a small carabiner.

We recommend leashes for miniature dogs 1,5 cm wide due to the smallest carabiner.

We recommend leashes for small and medium-sized dogs 2 cm wide due to the medium carabiner.

While guardians of the larger dogs usually want to equip themselves with leashes to provide furry kids security. For this reason, it matters most strength - lanyards are intended for them 2,5 cm wide. We sew large, strong snap hooks into the leashes for large dogs, using tear-resistant threads.

For large dogs, we recommend wide leashes 2,5 cm due to the large carabiner.

For dogs over 14 kg, we recommend 2,5 cm wide leashes with large snap hooks.
