When the dog has a warm nose
Dry nose in a dog. If a dog has a dry and warm nose, it does not necessarily mean that he is sick. There are situations in which this state is natural and should not cause us to react violently. The dryness of truffles may appear immediately after waking up, on hot or windy days, or in air-conditioned rooms. It can also be a consequence of sleeping in an unnatural position, too high air temperature, caused by setting the maximum values in the radiators. It can also be the result of prolonged sunbathing in a sunny place or improper air circulation in the apartment.
A dog that runs intensively during a walk may also have a dry nose, often nibbling in the ground or rubbing it against a hard surface. The epidermis of the nose of such a quadruped becomes excessively dry and peels off. In such cases, there is no need to visit the vet, but it is worth getting an ointment (balm) that regenerates the epidermis, which will protect the pet's nose against excessive drying.
